This slate has the fourth-highest projected point total of the week, coming in at an even 47 at the time of writing. There’s sure to be plenty of points scored in this one, and here are my top DFS plays to take advantage of that:

Top TNF DFS Lineup Options for Week 4

Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals

Tee Higgins is always the answer.

Looking for a player with a massive ceiling that can single handily win you the week? Tee Higgins can do that. Prefer someone with a high floor? Tee Higgins has it covered. Having a bad day? Throw on some Tee Higgins highlights. He’s the answer to everything.

Widely looked at as Ja’Marr Chase’s sidekick, Higgins often ends up undervalued like he is this week. Higgins led the Bengals in targets, catches, and yards in Week Two, which is the one full game he’s played this year. Despite leaving last week’s contest after a shot to the head, which he did return from, Higgins still recorded 5 catches for 93 yards and was robbed of a touchdown on an egregious call.

Higgins is officially off the injury report as of Wednesday, so no worries there. Priced as a low-end WR2 this week, Higgins is just as likely to return WR1 value as anyone else not named Cooper Kupp in Week Four. He’ll be in every single one of my lineups.

Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals

It looks like Joe Burrow has finally found his rhythm after a slow start to 2022. In last week’s “get right” matchup against the Jets, Burrow threw for 3 TD’s despite losing Tee Higgins for a portion of the game. This week, he gets a Miami defense that has allowed opposing quarterbacks to pass for over 300 yards in back-to-back games.

Speaking of the Miami defense, they just played 90 snaps in extreme Florida heat with high humidity a few days ago. Now on the road on a short week against one of the league’s premier passing attacks, they’re vulnerable. Against an exploitable Dolphins defense this week, Burrow offers top-five upside without a top-five price tag.

Chase Edmonds, Miami Dolphins

Edmonds is coming off a 2 TD performance against Buffalo where he only handled the ball 7 times. While we can’t expect that kind of efficiency this week, it does signal that Edmonds is relatively fresh compared to his teammates who had a heavier workload. When dealing with a short turnaround on Thursday Night and considering the extenuating circumstances of playing in the extreme heat a few days ago, this could prove to be a significant edge for Edmonds.

His 8 targets through 3 games offers a decent floor and the Bengals defense allowed 7 receptions for 60 yards last week against the Jets. With Tua banged up and Jaylen Waddle dealing with a groin injury, Miami’s offense may very well be checking down to running backs more often. While Edmonds is unlikely to win you the slate, his low price and solid floor offers a lot of flexibility with your build.

By Andrew Doherty The Dolphins visit the Bengals on Thursday Night to kick off Week Four in a matchup between two potent offenses.
