Ben Simmons makes his anticipated return to Philadelphia, but the 76ers will be without Joel Embiid, James Harden, and Tyrese Maxey.

We are looking at some of our favorite over/under props grouped by the markets for points, rebounds, assists, and three-point field goals.

NBA DFS Prop Picks for Tuesday Night

Points – Over/Unders

Devin Booker (Suns) – Over 28.5 Points vs. Lakers

How did Devin Booker follow up his 49-point explosion against Utah? He got to the free throw line one time and scored 20 points against the Knicks in a blowout win. He did tie his season high with five made threes, but it was a quiet game for Booker.

Not quiet: Booker’s last five home games against the Lakers going back to the 2021 playoffs. In his last five games in Phoenix against the Lakers, Booker has scored 32, 30, 30, 31, and 34 points.

That is consistently great, and we know the Suns have given the Lakers a tough time in recent years. I would trust Booker to have another 30-point game in this one.

Joe Harris (Nets) – Over 9.5 Points vs. 76ers

Has Joe Harris finally found his shooting stroke again? After going 13 straight games to start this season without making more than two threes, he has hit four in back-to-back games.

Harris has also scored in double figures in five of his last seven games, including 13 points against Memphis on Sunday in Kyrie Irving’s return to the lineup.

Injury limited Harris to 14 appearances last season, but one of his best games was a 14-point performance in Philadelphia. Two seasons ago, he had a game with 28 points against the 76ers.

He won’t do anything like that, but these also aren’t the normal 76ers with all the injuries. With all the drama surrounding this team with Irving’s return and Ben Simmons’ first game in Philadelphia, let’s back the Nets to perform well against a very depleted Philadelphia lineup. That would include Harris scoring in double digits.

Rebounds – Over/Unders

Harrison Barnes (Kings) – Under 5.5 Rebounds vs. Grizzlies

Trying to find rhyme or reason for Barnes’ variance in rebounding this year might be a fool’s errand, but here are the reasons to back the under in this matchup:

Barnes played a season-high 37:28 against the Grizzlies nearly a month ago and had just three rebounds.

Memphis plays a mediocre pace and allows the seventh-fewest rebounds per game to power forwards according to FantasyPros.

Barnes has had eight and nine rebounds in his last two games, his two highest games this season.

The last time Barnes had 17 rebounds over two games this year, he finished a Golden State loss with zero boards just nine days ago.

Barnes has not gone over 5.5 rebounds in three consecutive games since early February of last season.

Despite the injuries to Ja Morant and Desmond Bane, the game is a virtual pick’em as the Grizzlies are expected to be competitive at home.

Over his last 10 games, Barnes has alternated between a pair of overs and unders for his rebound lines. His last two games have been overs.

Jaden Ivey (Pistons) – Over 4.5 Rebounds vs. Nuggets

The Pistons have been missing some rebounding with recent injuries to Isaiah Stewart, Cade Cunningham, and Saddiq Bey. Despite this being the case for a few games now, Jaden Ivey has finished with exactly four rebounds in five straight games.

Ivey has finished under 4.5 rebounds in 12-of-17 games this year, but this streak of four needs to end with the players potentially out for both sides in this matchup.

The Nuggets allow the eighth-fewest rebounds per game to shooting guards this season, though they have had their own health problems lately with the COVID protocol knocking out key players.

With the odds slightly in favor of the over here, let’s go with Ivey to end his streak of four-rebound games and hit the over.

Assists – Over/Unders

Ben Simmons (Nets) – Over 4.5 Assists vs. 76ers

Ben Simmons will play his first game in Philadelphia as a member of a different team than the 76ers. The crowd will be hostile because what else would you expect? The 76ers’ best players are out, so it’s not going to be a normal game by any means.

But is it not a golden opportunity for Simmons to play well against a depleted roster? I wouldn’t trust him to score points despite a season-high 22 on Sunday, but assists are a different story. He’s had over 4.5 assists in 45-of-58 games last year and 8-of-12 games this year with the Nets.

Simmons had five assists on Sunday against the Grizzlies despite his teammates only making 5-of-11 shots on his potential assists according to NBA.com. Meanwhile, his teammates were 20-of-22 on assist-worthy passes for Kevin Durant, Royce O’Neal, and Seth Curry in that game. It’s time for Simmons to get some love as he takes on his former team.

This is also a good spot for Kyrie Irving to go over his 3.5 assists line after having zero in his return game from suspension on Sunday. Quite the mix of personalities here with Simmons and Irving, but we are going to side with Simmons getting his over as the best play.

Deandre Ayton (Suns) – Under 2.5 Assists vs. Lakers

Just the other night in Utah, Ayton flirted with a triple-double as he only needed two more assists to pull it off. But his career-high eight assists are a sign of what this offense is without Chris Paul in the lineup. It is in search of a different identity with everyone contributing more as a passer with Cameron Payne as the point guard.

But we can chalk that Utah game up to a huge outlier. Ayton has been under 2.5 assists in 10-of-14 games this season.

Ayton has also been under 2.5 assists in 14 straight games against the Lakers going back to 2020. Ayton usually has a lot of 20-point scoring games against the Lakers, but his aggression as a shooter in these matchups is another reason to like his assists to stay low and the under to hit again.

Three-Point Field Goals – Over/Unders

Dillon Brooks (Grizzlies) – Over 2.5 Threes Made vs. Kings

With Ja Morant and Desmond Bane injured, this could be the Dillon Brooks show in Memphis for a few weeks. Against Brooklyn the other night, Brooks shot the ball 31 times to score 30 points. He finished 3-of-11 from three.

He has gone over 2.5 threes in 7-of-14 games this season, but without the shooting of Bane and Morant, he should take on more of the burden, including from three.

Brooks was 3-of-6 from three against the Kings when these teams met earlier this season. The Kings allow the eighth most threes made per game to shooting guards this season according to FantasyPros.

De’Aaron Fox (Kings) – Over 1.5 Threes Made vs. Grizzlies

Taking Kevin Huerter’s over in threes has gotten too easy, so let’s try more of a challenge with De’Aaron Fox. He has ben hot during this six-game winning streak with 40% shooting from three.

Fox doesn’t take that many threes compared to some point guards, but he has made over 1.5 threes in 9-of-14 games, including 6-of-8 coming into Tuesday night.

The Grizzlies allow the fifth-most made threes per game to opposing point guards according to FantasyPros. Trust Fox to have another fine night and make multiple threes.

By Scott Kacsmar The NBA hosts four games this Tuesday evening, including a doubleheader on TNT of Nets–76ers and Lakers–Suns.
