On Wednesday, September 27, 7-time All-Star player Damian Lillard was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks to play alongside two-time MVP award winner Giannis Antetokounmpo in a historic three-team trade deal. This trade comes as a result of Lillard\u2019s trade inquiry this past summer. On July 1, 2023, the acclaimed NBA player requested a trade that would bring an end to his 11-year-long career with the Portland Trail Blazers. The distinguished NBA star initially had his heart set on the Miami Heat when he first submitted this request. This trade was requested in hopes of winning an NBA title, as the Trail Blazers had not made the playoffs since they lost the Western Conference in the first round in 2021.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
